Have You Been Bitten By a Tick?

Have you been bitten by a Tick recently?

Follow these steps to find out more about the tick –

  • Take a photograph of the tick with your phone.
  • Email the picture to tickencounter.org.

They will respond in 24 hours with this –

  • Tick identification
  • Estimated attachment time
  • The chance for disease transmission
  • How to further test the tick for Lyme or other organisms (cost $50)

While you are waiting for a response, put the tick in a sealed or Ziploc bag and store it where you won’t lose it.

The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining me!

On Wednesday June 27, 2018, I will start to have office hours in Litchfield from 10 to 5.

I feel there is a need to have an office in the Litchfield Hills because the number of people with Lyme Disease is increasing.

Read this post for way to prevent Lyme Disease.

There are more people walking around with Lyme Disease than with Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer and HIV combined.   Here are some of the symptoms –

10 Symptoms of Lyme Disease

  • Fatiguedrbellgraham.jpg
  • Flu symptoms
  • Joint Pain (migrating)
  • Headache
  • Bull’s eye rash, hives, or other rash
  • Achiness
  • Pain
  • Heart Palpitations
  • Confusion, memory issues, inability to focus

Supporting the immune system, reducing inflammation, killing the bacteria, and relieving pain are the primary goals when treating lyme naturally. Treatment modalities include botanical medicine effective for tick-borne diseases, immune support, proper nutrition, and stress reduction. All of these are important components of a natural lyme disease treatment plan.

If you have any of these symptoms, that you have been unable to diagnose, please feel free to contact me so we can figure out how you can reach optimal health!
